Fallout‘s live adaptation on Amazon was so well-received that sales of the fourth main game in the series saw a spike nearly ten years after its original release. You can now relax if you were concerned about the show’s future despite its success because, just a few days after its premiere, Amazon has already renewed it for a second season. A nuclear war has devastated the earth decades prior to the events of the Fallout universe. In the television series, Ella Purnell portrays Lucy, a vault dweller who had to come to the surface in order to save her father.
As the radioactive, noseless bounty hunter corpse known as the Ghoul, Walton Goggins appears to be a popular with viewers. In our assessment, we referred to him as a “enlightened choice” for the character and thought this was his most compelling performance to date. Overall, we were almost as fond of Fallout as we were of The Last of Us: TV Series. It boasts amazing visuals, authentic settings and costumes that are faithful to the original works, and a well-paced narrative that doesn’t feel like it’s trying to balance multiple storylines. However, the game is also graphic and brutal, so it’s not suitable for the weak of heart.
Prime Video enlisted Westworld creators Jonathan Nolan and Lisa Joy as executive producers of the show back in 2019. The show is one of Amazon’s endeavors. Nolan and Joy stated, “We can’t wait to blow up the world all over again,” hinting that they would return for the upcoming season. However, Amazon has not yet disclosed the start of production or if it has a schedule for the project.
