Kallme has introduced a new smartwatch to the market, the Hero 4. Visually, it is similar to the Huawei Watch Ultimate, which also comes in gold. The new Chinese model is substantially cheaper but does not have actual gold, among other things.
Instead, it comes in a black case with gold accents on the bezel, strap, and three buttons. According to Kallme, the smartwatch has a zinc-aluminum alloy frame and is waterproof (IP68), making it appropriate for swimming, for example.
The Kallme Hero 4’s 1.52-inch display is an AMOLED panel with a resolution of 454 x 454 and the ability to personalize watch faces. In addition to the touchscreen and three buttons, the wearable may be controlled using gestures, such as answering phone calls. According to the maker, Bluetooth telephony is supported by music control, weather, an AI voice assistant, and more than 100 sports modes.
Kallme also advertises extensive health features. On top of the usual functions of heart rate, SpO2 measurement and sleep tracking, it also claims to measure blood pressure. However, users should not intepret the results as accurate under any circumstances, as it is explicitly not a medical device. Indeed, a recent review revealed that such claims tend to be unreliable or false. The manufacturer states that the 380 mAh battery lasts up to seven days under typical use
The Kallme Hero 4 can be ordered directly from the manufacturer for a launch price of $39.99. Buyers can save a further $5 with the voucher code “kallmehero5”
