Puzzle-based games may soon be available on LinkedIn, a site that most people undoubtedly equate with fun, to give its users something to do in addition to networking. This past weekend, app researcher Nima Owji shared a number of screenshots on X that appeared to be some of the games that LinkedIn is developing. The business then verified the idea with TechCrunch. It is said that employees’ scores will influence the games’ rankings of the companies they work for.
Per TechCrunch, the titles LinkedIn is working on so far include “Queens,” “Inference” and “Crossclimb.” LinkedIn provided the publication with some newer images of the games, but for everyone just anxiously awaiting their rollout, there’s no timeline yet for when they’ll be released. It’s unclear if games will be available in full to free users or reserved for LinkedIn’s paid subscribers.
