The EU has seen the release of the Roborock S8 MaxV Ultra, and the US will shortly follow. One of the more potent models available is the brand’s most recent flagship robot vacuum and mop, which has the DuoRoller Riser Brush with a suction capacity of up to 10,000Pa. The VibraRise 3.0 system with 4,000 rpm is designed for mopping, and the brand refers to it as “sonic mopping.”
With its FlexiArm side brush and Extra Edge Spinning mop technology, the S8 MaxV Ultra is supposed to cover every area of your space 100%. Additionally, the robot can clean dirtier areas twice thanks to DirTect technology, which intelligently adjusts the cleaning settings based on the amount of filth it can observe. In addition to automatically emptying the trash can and dirty water tanks, restocking clean water and detergent supplies, and washing the mop at 60°C (~140°F), the RockDock Ultra can also dry it with hot air at 60°C (~140°F). Video calling, Matter compatibility, and the Hello Rocky voice assistant are additional features.
The Roborock S8 MaxV Ultra robot vacuum and mop is now on sale in Germany at third-party retailers like MediaMarkt for €1,399, a €100 saving on the €1,499 RRP. The new product will launch in the US on April 22nd for $1,799.99. At launch, customers are offered a 5-year warranty, a Roborock Flexi Lite and two Accessory Packages for free with their purchase, worth around $1,000. When the model will roll out to more countries across Europe and North America remains to be seen.
