Coming this week on Game Pass Ultimate, PC Game Pass, and EA Play is the second episode in EA’s Star Wars Jedi franchise. April 25, nearly a year to the day after its release, will see subscribers able to resume Cal Kestis’ quest in Star Wars Jedi: Survivor. Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order, also accessible through those sites, is a good place to start if you haven’t already played the first few chapters of Cal’s story.
Jedi: Survivor takes place five years after the events of the last game, with Cal continuing his struggle against the Empire. This time around, you may employ five different lightsaber postures, and the maps are larger than in Jedi: Fallen Order. While Jedi: Survivor received generally positive reviews, the PC port had infamously terrible performance out of the gate – a problem that developer Respawn Entertainment has attempted to address with patches.
There’s a third game in development with a different lead character. The first two installments’ director, Stig Asmussen, left EA to start his own firm.
