This year, on April 26, Stellar Blade, the second well-known PlayStation exclusive, will launch. Many people referred to Rise of the Ronin as a “PS3 game,” but it was ultimately a damp squib with non-Nioh-esque fighting and mediocre graphics. As such, a lot is riding on it. Starting at 14:00 GMT on March 29, you may now experience a real-time playable demo of Stellar Blade on your PlayStation 5.
Sony also released a new gameplay trailer for Stellar Blade. It shows off bits of the game’s UI, combat and the game’s boss fight, giving players a good idea about what the rest of Stellar Blade has in store. Save files created in the demo will carry over to the main game once it is released. You’ll also get “a little surprise” once you finish the demo.
Unlike Dragon’s Dogma 2, you can play Stellar Blade on your PlayStation 5 at 60 FPS. And, its late April launch date ensures that it doesn’t clash with the highly-anticipated Elden Ring Shadow of the Erdtree set to drop on 20 June. While its developer, Shift Up, is a relatively unknown company, we’ve seen Neowiz work wonders with Lies of P, and it wouldn’t be outlandish to expect a game of the same calibre from another South Korean studio
